Seventeen-year-old Echo hasn’t had a panic attack at school in so long she thought maybe they were over. Until an altercation with a rival brings on that familiar ache in her chest. But she wasn’t prepared for the light that suddenly manifested from her hands.

Echo is a Siphon, someone who can channel energy into one of the four elements. Unfortunately for her, the only one with any answers is the elusive and aloof Ash St. Claire.

Keeping secrets is not new to St. Claire, but Echo’s friendships fracture under their weight, drawing her closer to the only person she doesn’t have to lie to.

As Echo struggles with her growing power, danger comes to their coastal island town. Someone is hunting Siphons, and every choice the two teens make could mean life or death.
